Redesigning Block Dojo's Digital Experience
As a digital designer, I collaborated closely with Block Dojo's Head of Design, driving the global brand and product transformation to boost conversions, enhance engagement, and align with the company’s evolving goals and vision.

From research to execution in 4 weeks, we continuously iterated the design based on user feedback, Hotjar insights, and Google Analytics data.
Background
Block Dojo is a dynamic 12-week in-person accelerator program designed to support early-stage startups. With a focus on nurturing innovation, the program provides founders with the tools, mentorship, and resources needed to bring their ideas to market.
In line with its evolving goals, Block Dojo is committed to not only launching successful startups but also fostering a stronger, more connected community of founders. This vision of cultivating resilient entrepreneurs and thriving startup ecosystems is at the heart of its mission.
Problem
The previous Block Dojo brand lacked creative flexibility and did not have a global brand guideline suited for business expansion. The website suffered from a high bounce rate and low engagement, which was challenging to address due to the absence of web analytics tools.
Research & Planning
Conducted business benchmarking to identify existing startup incubators in the UK, focusing on top programs that are often founders' first choice. Analysed strengths and weaknesses through the lens of user experience theory and outlined key features based on user needs and market trends.
Design & Prototyping
Collaborated with the Head of Design to create intuitive user interfaces, brand and imagery guidelines, marketing assets, and internal business designs, such as email signatures and business deck templates. Continuously refined the designs based on user feedback to improve usability and visual appeal.
Implementation
Leveraged agile development methodologies to build the website from the ground up, prioritising key sections. Integrated Hotjar and Google Analytics to analyze user behaviour and optimise the user journey.
Testing & Optimisation
Conducted comprehensive testing across multiple devices and platforms to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. Collected user feedback and refined the site based on usability metrics and stakeholder satisfaction.
The new website provides a seamless user experience, enabling users to navigate effortlessly, whether they are customers or investors.
